No self-respecting website for writers should be without its own writing school, and Subbub is no exception. I think I’ve been writing for long enough for my advice to be reasonably useful, and I thought this might be a good place to collect it all together. Once we get going, I might even solicit submissions from other people.
I’ve called it School of Write because as well as being an obvious cultural reference, it’s also a deeply irritating and linguistically incorrect formulation, and I’m hoping that it will stay in the minds of people for that reason. I’m not sure how often I’ll be adding new posts, but you might want to subscribe to it to make sure you don’t miss anything.
I’m intending to use some innovative techniques in the posts that follow – in fact you’ll see one of them in the very first example – partly because I think it will be a good use of technology, but mainly because I love tinkering around with software almost as much as I love writing.
